Your help is needed at our The Salvation Army’s Red Shield Kid’s Club!
Starting Monday August 15th, we will launch our After School program for children ages 6-13 within our community. This program will offer sports, bible study, tutoring and arts/crafts along with a nutritious snack to children who enroll. Here’s where you come in! We are seeking volunteers to assist with either tutoring students or teaching arts and crafts.
As an Arts/Crafts volunteer you will be helping children Monday thru Friday between 3:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with creative arts and craft projects. Get imaginative and have fun with young minds who yearn for a way to express themselves thru visual art!
As an After School Tutor, your activities would include helping children with their homework, reading to the children and you’ll have the option of creating fun learning and educational games to build math and language skills. This opportunity runs Monday thru Friday, 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Be a part of a community center that has been mentoring and lifting up it’s community via the thousands of children that have passed thru it’s doors since the 1940’s here in Northeast Nashville.
The location is 611 Stockell Street in Nashville and the point of contact for volunteering is Misty Ratcliff who can be reached at 615-416-3175 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We thank you in advance for your desire to empower the future!
